A corner of the city that feels like home.
Sweet Cats Cafe began as a quiet dream between two friends who believed that the best moments of a day start with something warm from the oven. In 2012, we opened our doors on East 17th Street with a small menu, a big oven, and an open heart.
Today, we still bake everything from scratch each morning — our sourdough ferments for 48 hours, our butter comes from the Hudson Valley, and our coffee is roasted locally in Brooklyn. Every recipe carries the same intention: make something that makes you pause and smile.
